TOP MOUNT OIL COOLER ADAPTER PLATE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. You will need 1 or 2 washers under the oil cooler adapter plate. The washers limit the amount of compression placed on the adapter plate.

2. Install 2 of the rubber washers (O rings) on the bottom of the o cap.

3. Bolt the oil cooler adapter plate in place with:
2 each 1/4" bolts
2 each washers
2 each 1/4"-28 nuts
The stud has a 13mm (socket size) nylon nut.

4. Tighten the bolts and nuts so the oil cooler adapter plate is forced down against the washers under it.

5. This is a low height oil cooler adapter plate. It may be necessary to cut the flange on the oil cooler off where it lays over the engine case. The case may also need to be filed down slightly.
