INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SLICK M2266 HARNESS

1. Determine the firing order. When using the Slick 4316 magneto and the Slick M2266 harness we recommend the following: sitting in the cockpit and engine is in front of you. Right front is #1 - right rear is #2 - left front is #3 - and left rear is #4.

2. The harness will attach to the magneto only one way.With the harness attached start you will see a #1 stamped on the harness cap. The #1 wire goes to the #1 cylinder (right front. Again, sitting in the cockpit and going in a clockwise direction the next wire goes to #2. Still clockwise the next wire is #3 and the next is #4.

Note: The number 2 cylinder (right rear) usually runs the hottest.

Note: The reason for changing the firing order is that the slick harness if wired per VW is not long enough to go to the correct cylinders in the correct order.
