from the prop vertically 5" or 5.5".

Compression Ratio: 7 to 1 is the Best
8 to 1 is the Maximum
Flywheel Weight: 10 to 12 lbs. is the the Best
5 lbs. is the Minimum
NOTE: Most of the weight should be in the outer rim area. A heavier flywheel gives a smoother operation.
Crankshaft Bolt: Deep drilled- The best is 3/4" x 3 1/2" long
Stock VW is Satisfactory at 20mm x 40mm
Engine Speed: 3600 to 3800 RPM @ Take Off
Prop Recommendations: Best for 1.6 Ratio: 2 blade 72" Diameter
Best for 2.0 Ratio: 2 Blade, 84" Diameter
Best for 1.29:1 Ratio: 50" to 56" Diameter
or 56" to 65" Diameter
