1600cc TO 1835cc Upgrade Kit $349.95
Great Plains 1600 to 1835 upgrade kit is a one of the most practical and least expensive upgrade kits available. You are adding only bore to the engine, therefore utilizing most of the other components. This upgrade kit will change your engine from a 1600cc 50 HP engine to a 1835cc 60 HP engine. In terms of pitch increase added to the same diameter propeller, you can turn 4 more inches.

You will need to send your engine case and cylinders heads to our recommended machine shop to have them machined out for 92 mm cylinders. This will cost an additional $100.00 (approximately) in addition to the listed kit cost. This kit converts an existing engine that is already converted for aircraft use.

Our 1835 to 2180 upgrade kit is the most popular upgrade kit sold. You add 13mm of stroke to the engine which will make your aircraft a real performer. This upgrade kit will change your horsepower from 60 to 70 continuous. In terms of pitch increase with the same diameter you can add up to 6 inches additional pitch. The real benefit of this upgrade kit is in rate of climb.

An 1835 has a 69mm crankshaft, the 2180 has an 82mm crankshaft. This upgrade kit includes our exclusive Force One prop hub and crankshaft set up made by Great Plains Aircraft. It is the strongest combination available for the Do It Yourself person on the market today.

In addition to the kit price you will need to send your case, rods and cam to the machine shop we recommend for approximately $200.00 of additional machine work not included in the kit price.
