| 82mm Forged Crankshaft. Our new "Square Wave" counterweighted crankshaft is specifically made for aircraft use. It is the only VW Aircraft Crankshaft we are aware of that is 100% machined in the USA. Forged from an American E4340 Chromoly steel billet and 100% macined in the USA. Features four crankshaft dowel pins for the flywheel. The crankshafts are SuperPolished, magnafluxed, balanced and nitrited. The nose is made to accept our tapered "Force One Prop Hub" kit. Crank has 3 inch deep 1/2 inch fine thread for prop hub retention, with no threads the first one inch. Keyway is for indexing the hub only. Retention is via the long taper. Currently imitated, but not equaled! Our "Top Bug Type 1 Crankshats" big number is "0", representing the number of crankshaft failures! The other guys? Ask them! Price includes Force One tapering machine work. |

| This new CW crankshaft is forged from 4140 steel. Nitrated and magnafluxed. All 69mm cranks feature 8 dowel pins for the flywheel. Main and rod journals are standard size. |
