X Casting Kit for your VW Engine!

Great Plains X-Casting Kit
Great Plains X Casting Kit is designed for the individual that wants electricity and engine vibration isolation and dampening. This X casting fits the dimensions found on the Sonerai I, II and II Stretch plans. It features the X casting which is cast aluminum, a steel flywheel end piece, mag drive piece, floating mag drive puck, 20 amp alternator and miscellaneous installation hardware. From the engine case to the back of the magneto harness cap is about 9.00". The X casting features the same 20 amp alternator found in the Diehl accessory case and comes complete with a combination regulator/rectifier unit. You will also need a set of 8 each 71032 Lycoming bushings for engine dampening. The flywheel end piece can be purchased separately for builders using a Vertex mag or 009 distributor.

NOTE: When replacing an Aero V X-Casting with a GPASC X-Casting in a Sonerai, the Intake "Y" will require modification by builder.
